I never had any urge to climb Cabot Tower until the day it closed. It’s literally on my doorstep yet for now this will remain an aspiration for another day. In this piece I tried to portray the sense of missed opportunity through extreme depth – so close yet so far away. Not to be too melancholic though, the light is bright just outside, and a sense of new purpose beckons. One day soon that Tower will be climbed and shouted from very loudly.
